How To Use:

Thoroughly wash and decontaminate the surface you're wanting to apply Gtechniq GT1 to. For paintwork, this will include iron and tar removal, followed by claying and polishing where required.

1. Spray and wipe the surface with the included Panel Wipe & MF1 towel
2. Open GT1 and apply evenly to the included AP5 microfibre applicator
3. Apply using smooth, overlapping passes to create an even, consistent layer
4. After 30-60 seconds, you will see the coating start to react and separate
5. Use the included MF6 towel to gently 'level' and remove residue
   
6. Check your work and ensure all residue is removed, flipping or changing your MF6 microfibre towel as you work
7. If GT1 is left (by mistake) for a 3-4 minutes, it can still be wiped away
8. This process is the same for paint, wheels, glass and trim
9. Allow to cure for 12-hours before getting your vehicle wet.
10. You can perform the first maintenance wash 7-days later.

High Spots:

If you notice any left-over residue the next day, these areas are called high spots. Usually they're hard to remove on normal ceramic coatings, however Gtechniq recommends using their W9 Water Spot Remover to aid in removing this left-over residue. Apply to a microfibre towel and wipe over the high spot until visually level. If you notice any difference in water behaviour in that area, you can always re-apply GT1 if needed.

Temperature Considerations:

GT1 can be applied in temperatures above 5°C without issues. Humidity is also far less critical than with conventional ceramic coatings.

Future Re-Coating:

After 9-months, you can prep your vehicle and re-apply GT1 to boost its life, the hydrophobics and self-cleaning benefits. GT1 bonds perfectly to itself.

Professional Use:

GT1 is the ideal coating to apply to customer vehicles after single-stage polishing packages, or if their existing (older) protection needs a top-up to restore gloss and hydrophobics.

We offer a 30-day return policy from the date of receipt. To be eligible for a return, items must be in their original condition, unworn, unused, with tags, and in their original packaging. Keep your receipt or proof of purchase for all returns.

To initiate a return, contact us at customerservice@goldlabelcarcare.co.uk. If your return is approved due to damage or fault, we will send you a return shipping label and instructions. We do not accept returns for items sent back without prior approval.

Refunds are processed back to your original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected. Non-returnable items include perishable goods, custom products, personal care items, hazardous materials, sale items, and gift cards.
