Tar and Residue remover takes a fresh approach on paint decontamination. This is a true 3 in 1 master! It dissolves Tar, Organic and Inorganic contamination using a blend of non traditional natural ingredients which are exclusively derived from citrus fruits. As the pH level is perfectly balanced, it is not corrosive and contains no harsh raw materials for your paint.

This product is a true trip down memory lane. Back in 2021 we began focusing on producing the most comprehensive solution for decontamination of the paint on our matte painted GLC 63 which had one of the most sensitive finishes in the industry. We wanted to produce a product that is extremely safe on all surfaces and finishes of paint without compromising the true strength / speed of contamination removal. Fast forward to 2024 and we have finally produced a product that does not use the usual harsh nasty smelling raw materials that the entire industry uses! This is a product that draws its strengths from naturally occurring ingredients and a product that is lighting fast at cutting through all manner of bonded organic and inorganic contaminants.
Usually vehicles accumulate a vast amount tar and asphalt contamination through daily use. This issue is especially increased in higher powered lower / wider vehicles which naturally get driven harder and sit lower to the ground. Our Tar and Residue remover will ensure that during your decontamination steps, you will leave no stone unturned ready for the manual clay process.
The decontamination line is now fully completed so you have all the tools available to prepare your vehicle to the highest of standards ready to increase the gloss of your final step product to another level.
We recommend to decontaminate in this order:
- Tar removal with Yum Tar and Residue
- Iron removal with Yum Wheels
- Mechanical clay with our Clay Block
- Re-wash the vehicle to neutralise any remaining product with Yum Wash.
Orders are processed within 1 working day, with no shipping on weekends. If there are delays, we will contact you by email or phone. Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your selected method and location.
We offer various shipping options, including Royal Mail, Parcelforce, Hermes, and APC Overnight. Overnight delivery is available only within the continental United Kingdom. You will receive a shipment confirmation email with a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.
Gold Label Car Care is not responsible for customs, duties, or taxes imposed during or after shipping. These fees are the customer's responsibility. Additionally, we're not liable for products damaged or lost during shipping. If your item is damaged upon arrival, contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
For more information or to track your shipment, refer to your order confirmation email. Currently, we ship only within the United Kingdom. Special handling charges may apply for items weighing over 25kg.
We offer a 30-day return policy from the date of receipt. To be eligible for a return, items must be in their original condition, unworn, unused, with tags, and in their original packaging. Keep your receipt or proof of purchase for all returns.
To initiate a return, contact us at customerservice@goldlabelcarcare.co.uk. If your return is approved due to damage or fault, we will send you a return shipping label and instructions. We do not accept returns for items sent back without prior approval.
Refunds are processed back to your original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected. Non-returnable items include perishable goods, custom products, personal care items, hazardous materials, sale items, and gift cards.
For exchanges, return your item and make a separate purchase for the replacement. Contact us for any questions about returns or refunds.
